The cooling principle of swamp cooler media is based on the natural physical phenomenon of "water evaporation absorbs heat". These cooling pads are made of paper material with a special honeycomb structure. Water flows from top to bottom on the surface of the cooling pad, forming a film of water.
When air flows through the swamp cooler pad, the water in the film evaporates and absorbs the heat in the air, taking away a lot of heat and reducing the temperature of the air passing through the pad. This process helps to effectively cool the surrounding environment.
There are several advantages to using swamp cooler media:
Excellent cooling and ventilation effect: When the outdoor temperature is 32°C (1081.6℉), the indoor temperature can reach 28-30°C (946.4-1014℉) with a reasonable evaporative cooling pad and exhaust fan system, compared to 38°C (1284.4℉) without ventilation.
Longer service life: With proper maintenance and care, a complete set of evaporative cooling pad and exhaust fan system can last up to 5 years.
High water absorption and evaporation efficiency: The evaporative cooling efficiency of 5090 evaporator cooler pads is over 80%, effectively reducing heat in the water. These cooling pads also have natural water absorption of 60-70mm/5 minutes and 200mm/hour, and do not contain surfactants.
Environmentally friendly: The system uses water as a refrigerant, so there is no pollution during manufacturing or use. The cooling pad not only reduces air humidity but also purifies the dust and particles carried by external air. Efficient circulation of fresh air can effectively prevent the spread of diseases and the rate of occupational diseases.
Swamp cooler media and exhaust fan systems are a widely applicable solution for regulating temperature and humidity in a variety of settings. These systems are suitable for use in industries and facilities such as garment factories, plastic factories, electronics factories, electroplating factories, shoe factories, toy factories, hardware factories, machinery factories, shopping malls, internet cafes, hospitals, train stations, gymnasiums, livestock farms, chicken farms, greenhouses, vegetable greenhouses, and fruit greenhouses.
There are several types of swamp cooler media, each with specific uses. Type 5090/6090 evaporative cooler pads are often installed inside evaporative air coolers and industrial humidifiers, while type 7090 greenhouse cooling pads are commonly used in conjunction with an exhaust fan as a cooling system, installed on walls. These cooling pads work by using the natural physical phenomenon of water evaporation to absorb heat and reduce the temperature of the surrounding air. They are effective in controlling temperature and humidity, making the environment more comfortable and safe for individuals.
There are four types of swamp cooler media colors/models available:
Standard type: These cooling pads are made of polymer material and use a space cross-linking process. They have high water absorption and resistance, are mildew resistant, have high cooling efficiency, and are environmentally friendly, safe, and energy-efficient.
Reinforced type with black edges: These cooling pads are more resistant to corrosion and impact and have a surface that is easy to clean, making them ideal for use in harsh environments.
Yellow and green color type: These colored cooling pads have a bright and attractive appearance and are suitable for use in high-end equipment.
Green antibacterial type: These cooling pads are treated with nanomaterials that effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria. They also use a special process to remove odors from the water curtain paper, making them a high-end, odorless cooling option.
The thickness of swamp cooler media is typically 100mm or 150mm, with 100mm being the most commonly used. The height, width, and thickness of the cooling pad can be customized to fit the specific installation needs, but the height of the pad is typically not more than 2 meters and the length is not more than 4 meters to ensure sufficient strength for installation.
The diameter of the honeycomb holes in the cooling pad is usually 5mm, 7mm, or 9mm. The 7mm specification (7090) is the most widely used and is typically used to make cooling pad panels that are installed on walls. The 5mm specification (5090) is mainly used in evaporative air coolers and industrial humidifiers, while the 9mm specification is used in environments with a high amount of dust that is prone to clogging.
The corrugated angle of the swamp cooler media can be 45°+45°, 30°+60°, or 45°+15°. The water cooling pad models include 4090, 5090, 6090, and 7090, among others.
When placing an order for swamp cooler media, there are several pieces of information that need to be determined:
Height, width, and depth: The size of the cooling pad needs to be specified in order to ensure that it fits the intended installation location.
Use: The cooling pad can be used as a panel (7090) or in an air cooler (5090/6090).
Water distributor: It may be necessary to specify whether a water distributor is needed for the cooling pad.
Model: The default model is the standard type of evaporative cooling pad, but other special models (such as 5090, 6090, 7090) can be requested in advance if needed.
DHF's swamp cooler media has a special diamond-shaped honeycomb structure that offers several advantages.
The large contact area of the structure allows for an excellent cooling effect, and it is also resistant to falling off and has a long service life. These features make it a reliable and effective solution for regulating temperature and humidity in various environments.
DHF's swamp cooler media are produced on a strict, standardized production line that adheres to international industry standards. For example, the number of sheets of paper of 5090 model in a 600mm width cooling pad must be at least 120 sheets in order to meet these standards. This ensures that the cooling pads are of high quality and performance.
DHF's swamp cooler media have excellent evaporation efficiency due to their high permeability. This allows for fast natural water absorption and a high rate of evaporation, resulting in a good cooling effect and a long service life. These features make the cooling pads an effective and reliable solution for regulating temperature and humidity in various environments.
DHF's swamp cooler media are made without the use of harmful chemicals such as phenol, making them non-toxic and safe for use around people. These pads also have a very very low odor and are resistant to mildew and corrosion, making them a reliable and safe solution for regulating temperature and humidity.
Through the swamp cooler media, the water in the pad absorbs the heat and evaporates, taking away a lot of heat and reducing the temperature of the air. This process also helps to remove dust and impurities from the air, making it more pure and healthy to breathe.
